GoldBox SEAT Licensing 

 

SEAT licensing for GoldBox is tied to the usage of GoldBox Views, the user-oriented package that links GoldMine to outside or GoldMine data.  If you are not implementing GoldBox Views at this time, generally you do not need SEAT Licensing. 

 

Before purchase: GoldBox-5 or GoldBox-SQL PROFESSIONAL Edition is required. 

 

You must provide the Serial Number of the Main GoldBox System when ordering. 

1. GoldBox VAR: When purchasing for a client, supply the Serial Number of your client's Main GoldBox System.  Your SEATs Order is emailed to you, and you can have the Seat License File emailed to your client. 

2. GoldBox VAR: If purchasing SEATs for your usage, supply the Serial # of your NFR Main GoldBox System. 

 

The first step is a REQUEST for SEAT Licenses - via the below Web link, a phone call to the Addon Store, or an Addon Store Fax sheet (downloadable from the below link).  Following your REQUEST, an Order is created and you are emailed the Seat License File.  http://www.goldmineaddons.com/products/gbxseat.asp 

 

When you receive the email-attached file SEAT_LIC.GBX, please save it to the root path of the Main GoldBox System.  The next time you access GoldBox, the SEATs are assimilated.  GoldBox allows a single assimilation per Order - a 2nd attempt with the same file is rejected.  You can add to the SEAT count anytime with a separate Order.  The SEAT count displays at Help / About in the Main GoldBox System.  The number following the slash after the Serial Number is the count of available SEATs for retrieval.

PRICING: 

SEAT pricing is a fraction of the Main GoldBox System price.  The range is $50 to $75 per user, depending on quantity purchased.  There are 3 price breaks: 

 

1 SEAT:          $75 

5-seat Pack:   $300 

10-seat Pack: $500 

 

Based upon the above price breaks, following is the pricing matrix, up to 100 SEATs.  Each 100 SEATs is $5,000, so please add that amount to the fractional part of 100, listed below.  You will note that there are no entries for quantities ending in 4, 8 or 9.  This is because the price is the same, or better, by going to the next highest quantity.
