GoldBox Operation: EXPORT 

 

EXPORT of GoldMine data and any ODBC-accessible data on your system has never been easier. Migrating targeted sections of your GoldMine business data to other formats and programs can be a challenge. Especially when it's recurring - when you need to script and automate these types of operations.  GoldBox puts you into the center seat for Exporting data with its point-and-shoot technology. 

 

 

 

All of GoldMine's data can be addressed for automated Exports.  In addition, GoldBox offers 'canned' Exports - for migrating, reporting and data archival. 

 

The option 'ANY dBase4 Table' opens up the GoldBox automated Export to ANY accessible data on your system.  By selecting a record set from a GoldBox View or an automated Conversion, you can use the Result as the Source for your Export operation.  And - it's all based upon standard SQL Queries. 

 

 

 

As with many GoldBox procedures: You don't have to select any of the powerful Export options - but they are within easy reach when you need them.  You can export a hard-coded Number of records; Write Back to a field for each selected record; Append one Export onto another; Create a GoldMine History record for each selected Main Contact, and more. 

 

 

 

It's easy. Just click check boxes to Select fields for Export - everything is already laid out by GoldBox. You can easily determine the Order of the fields, their custom Labels and Widths. 

 

Need to export the Result of an Expression?  You can add as many as necessary - GoldBox creates a corresponding Field for each in your Export file.
