DEMO FILES:
NOTE: Please click here for purchases of NEW GoldBox-7.
The download, install and configuration of the GoldBox-SQL or GoldBox-5 demo is REQUIRED before purchase. Your purchase contains only licensing files, and is unzipped into the root path of the demo (overwrite ALL if prompted).
The GoldBox demo is nearly the same as the full version - except most processing is restricted or limited. There is no time limit on the demo, and all documentation contained within the demo is the same as found in the full version (F1 Help system). Typically, the demo install is the latest release, but you can UPDATE it to the latest if necessary.
The DEMO is of the PROFESSIONAL Edition. If you download the DEMO, and then purchase the BASIC Edition, many of the menu options you saw in the DEMO will disappear.
FULL functionality found in the DEMO:

Launched Conversion of BDE / ODBC Table (or Excel) to named dBase Table

UN-DELETE for GoldMine hosted in dBase:
If you already have GoldBox-5 (Licensed or Demo) installed, version 2005-C or later, skip to the next step. Otherwise, install GX5DEMO.EXE, configure it to your LIVE GoldMine system, then Exit.
In GoldMine, right-click on the Taskbar down the left side. If the Taskbar does not appear, activate it from GoldMine's {Window} menu.
Add New Item.
External Application from the {Item Type} dropdown.
Caption: Main Contact UN-delete (The Caption is your choice).
Click the Ellipsis ... for Application. Access the GoldBox-5 root folder (such as C:\GOLDBOX5) and select the GX5.EXE application - the one with the violet icon.
Command Line: Key in the code UNDELETE
Icon File: Suggest selecting the C1RECALL.ICO in the GoldBox-5 root folder.
Click OK to save.
One click on this item will take you to the first DELETED Main Contact for the current Contact File. If this is the correct record, click the big white UN-DEL button on the toolbar. Confirm your choice, and the UN-deleted Main Contact will appear in GoldMine.
If the first DELETED Main Contact is NOT the one you wish to recall, click the down-pointing turquoise arrow to access the NEXT Deleted record. You can continue to step through the table in this fashion, or, you can click the FUNNEL icon and do a direct search. Example of a Search Filter:
UPPER(Contact1->Company) = "REDSTONE SOFTBASE COMPANY"
You can use any Main Contact fields, and multiple fields if necessary. Such as:
"4567" $ Contact1->Phone1 .AND. UPPER(Contact1->Key1) = "VENDOR"
Once you have accessed the correct Main Contact, click the big white UN-DEL button on the toolbar to UN-delete it. The Main Contact should appear above the window, in GoldMine.
GoldBox-5 does this: It UN-deletes the Main Contact (Contact1 and Contact2 records), plus all Calendar, History, Groups, Details, Addl Contacts, Referrals, Linked Documents, Org Chart Entries, A/P Track References, Opportunities and Projects. Then, if found, the TLog entries tracking these deletions are backed out - preventing their Transfer out to other GoldMine systems.
